The Company

Levels Diagnostics (Levels Dx) is a Dutch biotech start-up company located in Leiden that specializes in biomarker discovery and the organization of clinical studies. The company was founded a few years ago by four enthusiastic and ambitious entrepreneurs. Their first idea to start a business originated from the continuing rise of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) due to excessive prescription of antibiotics. To fight AMR, they came up with the idea for their first business project: the identification of biomarkers that can differentiate between bacterial and viral infections. Since then, Levels Dx has expanded its project portfolio to diagnosis of liver cancer and the prediction of sepsis.
